"shepherd to shepherd encouragers" came into being from a desire of both retired pastors and active pastors who have found navigating the modern waters of our world challenging and sometimes difficult.  We are all aware of many of the challenges of a "normal" ministry.  But, recent events have brought even more challenges to our ministry.  Questions often surface like - "Can I even do this anymore?"  "Is this really what God called me to do?"  "How do I do church when a substantial number of my congregation hasn't come back after the shut downs?"  "How can I continue to watch the church struggle to pay me when finances hardly cover the expenses of keeping the doors open?"  "How do I overcome the depression in my own life?"  "Honestly, I'm just struggling.  Is there anybody out there that cares?"

The answer is "YES"!!  Several of us come from years of experience that have taken us through some of the most difficult times of life, albeit a little different than these days.  But, the faith that brought us through will help you find that reassurance once again of God's faithfulness to sustain your calling.  Others of us are actively pastoring now and are experiencing many of the same things you are.
